looking for a cheap vps for a small personal project, nothing serious. any recs that aren't total garbage
depends on your budget honestly, there's a big range of 'cheap'
under 10 a month ideally, just need something that stays up
i've had decent luck with a couple of the budget providers, uptime's been fine for basic stuff
just make sure whoever you pick actually has decent support if something breaks, cheap providers are hit or miss there
yeah that's my main worry honestly, had a bad experience with a host that just went dark for two days once
following this thread, need something similar for a side project
honestly for basic static stuff it barely matters which one you pick, they're all fine until you need something specific
true, overthinking it for something small isn't worth it
fair enough, going with whatever's cheapest and reliable enough. thanks all
